Mail and package notifications for mailbox stores
Flow Motion Tv Inc. operates a notification service used by mailbox and shipping stores in the United States. When mail or a package arrives, store staff select the mailbox in our app and the customer who rents that box receives a private text message telling them it is ready for pickup.
What we send
Every message is transactional and relates to mail or package pickup at the store where the recipient rents a mailbox. We do not send marketing, advertising, or promotional messages of any kind.
Typical messages read:
- Mail is ready for mailbox 133.
- Please pick up your package(s) for mailbox 133.
- Mailbox 133 is full. Please pick up your mail.
Each message identifies the store it comes from. Messages are sent individually and privately — recipients never see one another's phone numbers.
How customers sign up
Mailbox renters opt in in person at the store, either by agreeing on their mailbox rental agreement or verbally at the counter. Staff record the date, time, method, and who collected the consent. Customers may alternatively opt in by texting a single-use code that staff hand to them.
Everyone receives a confirmation message when they first sign up, and can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. We never purchase, rent, or import phone number lists.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies and depends on how often mail or packages arrive for a given mailbox — typically a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
